The airplane landed a little earlier than announced,as Blic writes. Four days ago, the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Serbia gave its consent for the import of Pfizer's vaccine.
Three days ago, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, announced the arrival of these vaccines, adding that "we can quickly expect a mass vaccination".
- Of course, the vaccines will be free, in the next couple of days we will get the first ones, it will not arrive as much as we expected, around 10,000 was supposed to arrive, but about 5,000 we can expect. We will first immunize citizens over the age of 75. We will provide 50,000 vaccines for free - said Vučić earlier.
EU regulators approved a coronavirus vaccine made by BioNTech and Pfizer yesterday, and at the end of the same day, the European Commission issued a marketing authorization for the vaccine, making it the first EU-approved Covid-19 vaccine.

British airline easyJet, whose finances have come under severe pressure during the COVID-19 pandemic, has agreed with Airbus to defer the delivery of aircraft, it said on Tuesday.European travel has been at very low levels for more than nine months, forcing easyJet to take on more debt, tap shareholders for cash and sell dozens of aircraft to boost its finances to survive until flying recovers. Last month it reported a 1.27 billion pound ($1.7 billion) loss.
The airline said the delivery of 22 aircraft will be deferred from 2022-2024 to 2027-2028.
In addition 15 delivery dates within the period 2022 to 2024 will move to more closely match forecast seasonal requirements.
EasyJet said that under the terms of its 2013 agreement with Airbus the future aggregate cash price of the aircraft subject to deferrals will increase.
The airline also had the option until Dec. 31 2020 not to take up to seven aircraft scheduled for delivery between 2022 and 2026.
It has now agreed with Airbus to reallocate the aircraft to which this option applies, to seven planes due for delivery in 2025 to 2026, with the deadline to exercise this option amended to December 2021.
The changes will result in easyJet taking no deliveries in 2021, eight in 2022, seven in 2023 and 18 in 2024.
EasyJet has also retained options to increase its deliveries in 2023 to 30 aircraft.
-In this period of uncertainty, this flexibility is even more valuable, as it will enable us to quickly flex our fleet size in response to customer demand- CEO Johan Lundgren said.
Shares in easyJet, down 47% this year, closed Monday at 757.2 pence, valuing the business at 3.47 billion pounds.

The airline said the delivery of 22 aircraft will be deferred from 2022-2024 to 2027-2028.

North Macedonia will mull legalising marijuana for recreational use next year, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said Monday, adding that he also plans to loosen restrictions around exporting cannabis for medical purposes.
The small Balkan state will kick off public debates around both decriminalising -- and then fully legalising -- the drug in 2021, Zaev said. 
-We will listen to the voice of the citizens, and then the parliament will act accordingly- he assured. 
-It is not fair for someone who used half a gram of natural cannabis for personal use to go to prison, in an era where all around the world this plant is becoming legal both for medical and economic purposes- Zaev added. 
Growing marijuana for medical use has been legal in North Macedonia since 2016, but the law only allows the export of tinctures, oils and other extracts.
Zaev said he hopes parliament will approve legal changes by the end of the year that would allow the export of the cannabis "flower" -- which makes up the lion's share of market demand. 
This alone "is expected (to bring) an annual income of 250 million euros and open up well-paid jobs", Zaev said.
The list of ailments that can be treated with cannabis-based products will also be expanded, he added.
When it comes to recreational use, the government will likely face tough scrutiny from opposition politicians and NGOs, some of whom worry that government-allied businesses could dominate the market.
Other problems concerning the security of growing sites have also cropped up in recent months. 
More than two tonnes of marijuana were stolen from two different growers, with only a few hundred kilogrammes intercepted near the capital Skopje.
While cannabis has become increasingly decriminalised in Europe, its sale for recreational purposes is still widely prohibited. 
Marijuana is nevertheless the most popular drug on the continent, with sales amounting to some 11.6 billion euros ($13.6 billion) last year, estimates by EU's policing agency Europol show.

Gunmen murdered an Afghan journalist in the eastern city of Ghazni on Monday, the third reporter to be killed in the last two months in the violence-plagued country.
Rahmatullah Nekzad was shot dead with a silenced pistol by unknown gunmen near his home while he was travelling to a nearby mosque, Ghazni province police spokesman Ahmad Khan Seerat told AFP.
Targeted killings of prominent figures, including journalists, politicians and rights activists, have become more common in recent months as violence surges in Afghanistan, despite ongoing peace talks between the government and the Taliban.
No group has claimed Nekzad's murder so far, and the Taliban have denied responsibility.
Nekzad, aged in his late 40s, had contributed to the Associated Press news agency since 2007, the agency said in its report filed on his assassination.
According to the report, while working for the AP, Nekzad was arrested at various times by the United States, the Afghan government and Taliban insurgents.
He had also worked for the Al Jazeera broadcast network, the Doha-based television group said.
Al Jazeera said it was "shocked at the news of the killing of photographer Rahmatullah Nekzad, a former colleague who worked with our team in Afghanistan."

The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee said Nekzad was the seventh media personnel to be killed so far this year in Afghanistan, a country rated as one of the deadliest for journalists by media watchdog Reporters Without Borders.
-AJSC strongly condemns the serial killing of Afghan journalists- the committee, which reports on threats to media workers in Afghanistan, said on Twitter. 
Nekzad was married and is survived by six children.

<h2>Attack on 'freedom of expression'</h2>

His assassination drew strong condemnation.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani condemned the "terrorist attack" that killed Nekzad.
-The attack against civilians, public facilities and media workers are attacks against the freedom of expression and a crime against humanity- Ghani said in a statement.
Global rights group Amnesty International said on Twitter that the murder was a "horrific crime" and called for the perpetrators to be brought to justice.
Nekzad's death follows the assassination earlier this month of female news anchor and activist Malalai Maiwand, who was shot dead with her driver in Jalalabad in an attack claimed by the jihadist Islamic State group.
Last month, Radio Liberty reporter Aliyas Dayee was killed in a car bomb attack in southern Lashkar Gah city. No group has claimed his murder so far.
A former television presenter, Yama Siawash, who had recently joined Afghanistan's central bank, was also killed in November in a bomb attack in Kabul.
Violence has surged across Afghanistan in recent months.
Much of it has been unleashed by the Taliban as they attempt to gain leverage in peace talks, which opened in September in Doha but are currently on a break until early January.
Ghazni province has also seen deadly violence, with the Taliban and government forces clashing regularly in the region.
Fifteen children were killed on Friday when a motorbike laden with explosives blew up near a religious gathering in a village in the province.
Officials blamed the Taliban, but the insurgents denied involvement and said it was an "unexploded ordnance" that blew up and killed the children.
Last month, 30 security personnel were killed when a suicide car bomber struck an Afghan army base near Ghazni city, the provincial capital.

The new commander of NATO forces in B&amp;H, Eric Folkestad, in his first interview for B&amp;H media talks about the Euro-Atlantic path of B&amp;H, cooperation with the Armed Forces of our country, but also about the problem of the migrant crisis.

First of all, welcome to B&amp;H! What will be your priority in acting from the position of Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo?- It is a great honor to accept this exceptional responsibility. I want to help B&amp;H build the capacity of the Armed Forces to be able to respond to a range of security challenges, from conflict resolution to natural disasters. But when you strengthen the military, you must also strengthen the system of democratic control and oversight of its activities. Another part of our Partnership for Peace activities is to make sure that the Armed Forces operate under democratic control and are transparent and accountable to the people they protect.Do you believe that B&amp;H's entry into NATO is possible and that this is the path that this country must continue to take?- We want B&amp;H to take its rightful place, as a member of the Euro-Atlantic community, and we will support B&amp;H on that path in any way we can. But it is a choice that only the citizens and elected leaders of B&amp;H can decide on. What I do know is that, one after the other, the leaders in B&amp;H have signaled a desire for Euro-Atlantic integration, but each country is cooperating with NATO in different areas and under different conditions.Recently, the media reported on the decision of the NATO alliance, which intends to strengthen its engagement in B&amp;H. Can you, at least briefly, present to us the basic findings of that decision and tell us concretely in what we will see this stronger engagement?- I assume you are thinking of just one of the proposals concerning the NATO Secretary General's initiative 2030, which aims to ensure that NATO remains a strong military alliance, becomes better politically and takes a more global approach to protect the citizens of its members and partner countries. The Secretary General will continue consultations with allies, parliamentarians, civil society, the private sector and young people before presenting his recommendations to NATO leaders at next year's meeting.

In your opinion, what is the biggest security problem of B&amp;H at the moment?- It is clear to me that institutions at all levels of government in B&amp;H have been and are under strong pressure to respond to the demanding security and humanitarian challenge posed by the migrant crisis. Strong cooperation and coordination between various institutions and countries is key to responding to this challenge. That is why what NATO is doing in B&amp;H is so important. We are helping the B&amp;H Armed Forces build capabilities to work with allies to respond to international security challenges, from the migrant crisis, through returnees from foreign battlefields, to COVID. Likewise, it is clear that other security challenges have not disappeared due to COVID-19. On the contrary, we see state and non-state actors trying to use the health crisis to their advantage, even through misinformation, with the aim of provoking divisions and undermining our democracies and opportunities for action. We oppose the facts, our values and concrete activities with false narratives, which shows the readiness and solidarity of NATO. We are also working with the European Union, the United Nations, the G7 and civil society to counter this misinformation.How does NATO intend to assist B&amp;H in further developing and strengthening the BiH Armed Forces in line with Alliance standards?- The fact that B&amp;H has created a professional, cohesive armed forces that are a model of integration and cooperation is a remarkable success. First, the B&amp;H Armed Forces have been working side by side with the armed forces of the Alliance and Partner countries in Afghanistan since 2009. They are once again proving their professionalism and continue to play an important role in the NATO-led Resolute Support mission, training, advising and assisting Afghan security forces and institutions. Upon their return, they are better leaders and better soldiers and, with the new skills they have acquired and perfected in these security missions, they make AFB&amp;H units more capable and efficient.

<h2>The year 2020 is a turning point</h2>

- For the AFB&amp;H, 2020 is a turning point. In September this year, a battalion group of light infantry held an exercise on Manjača. The exercise represents the final step in a process that shows the unit has reached a level of interoperability and operational capability to participate in NATO-led crisis response operations. Bringing a battalion group to exercise is not an easy task, even in normal circumstances, let alone with the additional hygienic-epidemiological measures that were needed due to the COVID pandemic.

The Court of B&amp;H returned the indictment to the Prosecutor's Office for further processing in the "Respirators" affair, in which the accused are Fadil Novalić, Prime Minister of FB&amp;H, Fahrudin Solak, suspended director of the Federal Civil Protection Administration (FCPA), Fikret Hodžić, owner of "Srebrna Malina" and Deputy Prime Minister of FB&amp;H Jelka Milićević, it was confirmed for "Avaz".
After several months of investigation, the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H filed the indictment on December 4th, and then sent it to the Court for confirmation, which now considers that it must be finalized.
- After the consultation, the judge for the preliminary hearing, today on December 21st, 2020. returned the indictment in the criminal case of Fadil Novalić and others to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina - the Court of B&amp;H told "Avaz".
We learn that the indictment was returned for processing in the point relating to the procurement of protective equipment in the amount of 2,900,000 KM for the needs of the fight against coronavirus in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the time immediately after the declaration of the accident.
As they announced earlier, these are masks and gloves, which were offered by Fikret Hodžić, the owner of "Srebrna Malina", to the Federal Civil Protection Administration for the stated amount.
The indictment was returned only for this point, and these ambiguities will soon be removed - it was said unofficially for "Avaz" from the Prosecutor's Office.
These four are accused of procuring respirators worth 10.5 million KM, and so far, the Court has had no objections.

The accused Novalić, Solak and Hodžić, as well as the legal entity “F.H. Srebrena malina“ Srebrenica, as stated by the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, is charged with having committed the criminal offenses of Association for the Perpetration of Criminal Offenses, among which are:
- Abuse of office or authority, receipt of a reward or other benefit for trading in influence, money laundering, forgery or destruction of business or trade books or documents, forgery of official documents, breach of the obligation to keep trade or business books and compile financial statements and falsify or destroy them- it was pointed out by the Prosecution.
Milićević is charged with committing the criminal offense of negligent work in the service.
According to the indictment, Novalić is charged with using the circumstances of declaring a pandemic, as well as the capacities of the Prime Minister's authority in the Government of the Federation of B&amp;H, to devise a plan for illegal payment of budget funds for the purchase of means and equipment to combat coronavirus

In B&amp;H, December 21st is marked as Miners' Day. The mining sector and its stability are an important backbone of energy independence, they say from B&amp;H authorities. Sinan Husić, President of the Trade Union of Miners in FB&amp;H, in an interview for "Dnevni Avaz" points out that this date has great historical weight for miners in B&amp;H.
- This year we are celebrating 100 years since the Husino rebellion. Strong messages were sent by the miners of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1920 to the Yugoslav, European and world public, and, interestingly, they largely correspond to the demands of the miners today - he states.

However, Husić emphasizes that the position of miners in our country has improved incomparably in 100 years.
- In 1920, the miner worked for a daily wage that at that time was equal to the price of a kilogram of potatoes or half a kilogram of flour. For one not so high quality coat they had to set aside one annual salary. So, when we look at these data, it is certain that the life of miners today is much better, that the conditions in which we work today are much safer and more humane - says Husić.
But despite this, the president of the Miners' Union emphasizes that there are still many areas where the life of miners needs to be improved.

- We have outdated systematizations and organizations, we have been pointing to that for the last three years. It stifles our production. We are threatened by a convulsive struggle for the survival of mines in the Federation of B&amp;H. We see that coal is no longer such a desirable energy source. Enormous pressures are being exerted from certain international circles. It is very important for us, especially from the Tuzla Canton, what will happen with Block 7 of the Tuzla Thermal Power Plant, because without that block Kreka definitely becomes a small and insignificant mine - Husić points out.

- During the pandemic, we all together from all mines in FB&amp;H gave a promise to the public that we will provide sufficient quantities of coal for the electricity sector to function at full capacity against needs. We adhered to all measures until we got to work, because we were aware of the fact that, when we start performing all work tasks, in mines with underground and surface coal mining it is not possible to apply these protective means because they are simply too gentle, but also prevent us and disable our full function. For now, we can say that we did not have a significant number of infected or deaths in order to jeopardize the continuity of the production process - says Husić.

Vatican employees are safe in their jobs during the coronavirus pandemic, Pope Francis said Monday as he addressed Christmas wishes to the city state's 4,000 employees and their families.
-You are the ones who count the most- the pontiff told Vatican staff, socially distanced and wearing masks in the cavernous Paul VI Audience Hall.
-No one should lose their jobs (or) suffer the brutal economic consequences of this pandemic- the 84-year-old pope said.
With no unemployment fund, the world's smallest state has been paying its workforce their full-time wages despite a steep loss in revenues -- notably with the forced closure of the world-famous Vatican Museums.
The policy reflects Pope Francis's broader position on the pandemic and its economic and health effects.
-The pandemic has exposed the plight of the poor and the great inequality that reigns in the world- he said during a weekly Wednesday audience in August.
He lamented "a larger virus, that of social injustice, inequality of opportunity, marginalisation and the lack of protection for the weakest."

Today, the CEC held a session at which the item on the agenda was discussed with the request of the Mostar City Election Commission to reopen the bags with voting material for a new counting and determining the final election results from several polling stations.
The decision was adopted unanimously, and the order will be drafted and submitted to the Mostar City Election Commission.
These are more than 70 polling stations where voting took place in Mostar.
Mostar City Election Commission submitted requests for opening the bags and properly combining the established results. The proposal is to issue orders that will enable the opening of bags for several polling stations, it was announced at today's session.
- We must draw the attention of the City Election Commission when issuing an order in this regard, will the same members of the polling boards from the same polling stations who did not do a quality job, be re-engaged or will other members be delegated? - said Suad Arnautović, a member of the CEC.
He added that it is very important that the work is transparent and that the public is informed in time about opening the bags and consolidating the results.
- This should be remembered and recorded, and in the end initiate certain proceedings against the administrations in Mostar, because we see that a large number, in fact half of the polling stations need more or less intervention - he stressed.
Vlado Rogić said that he was worried about the request for a new count because there were many places.

According to current, incomplete and unofficial data, after the local elections in Mostar, and based on more than 90 percent of the counted ballots, the "Coalition for Mostar 2020" consisting of SDA, SBB, DF, SB&amp;H and BPS has a secure 12 seats in the Mostar City Council, which consists of 35 councilors.&nbsp;"BH bloc", that is, SDP and Naša stranka, for now, have five mandates.
HDZ B&amp;H has 13 seats, HRS three, and one belongs to the list of SNSD and SDS.
Šerif Špago, the Coalition's coordinator, told us that these five political entities had achieved their goal, which was, among other things, to make a great contribution so that, in the end, the pro-Bosnian bloc would have the necessary majority in the Mostar City Council.
-Currently, the only thing we are not sure about is that "Bh. block "in the City Area West will have a councilor, but there will, in fact, be decided by votes from the diaspora and I have no doubt that this list will get the required number of votes to "Bh. bloc” have its own councilor.
So, the "Coalition for Mostar", in that pro-Bosnian part of the councilors, has two thirds and we are satisfied with that result. Of course, in some parts it could have been better, but having in mind the overall epidemiological situation, the problems in the work of Covid teams, we are satisfied with the achieved result. Now we have to wait for these results to be published, that is, for the votes from the diaspora to come - Špago told us.
Špago confirmed to us that, if the "Bh.bloc" wins a mandate in the West City Area, practically, the pro-Bosnian bloc will have 18 councilors in the Mostar City Council.

He also referred to the accusations from the HNS and HDZ B&amp;H about election engineering before and after the election process.
- Anyone who knows the legal procedures related to voter registration, knows that the voter list was concluded on November 5th. We saw that in their statements they mentioned the transfer of people, just a few days before the elections, from one city area to another, and I would not comment on that, because no voter could change his address without first following the legal procedure. In the end, there are competent bodies, and there is also the CEC, which is responsible for those things - said Špago.
He pointed out that now everyone should dedicate themselves to the completion of the election process, determining and confirming the election results, in order to start the procedure of forming the City Council and electing the mayor as soon as possible.
Asked whether there would be blockades in that regard, Špago emphasized that he thought that no political entity had the right, after eight years of the blockade of Mostar, to condition the implementation of election results with new blockades.
- We should wait for the final results, and I would like to remind you that in the pre-election period, everyone promised that Mostar should establish a legislative power as soon as possible and elect a mayor and start solving the accumulated problems. Instead of blockades, citizens certainly expect accelerated work of all government structures, from the City Council to the new mayor, and especially better quality work and construction of the City Administration of Mostar - said Špago.

The Central Election Commission of B&amp;H has announced new preliminary results of the elections for the City Council of the City of Mostar.
The 2020 local elections for the City Council of the City of Mostar were held yesterday in the city on the Neretva river.
Voter turnout at regular polling stations was 55 percent, or 52,865 voters.

In the elections, 35 councilors were elected to the City Council of the City of Mostar, and in the city constituency that covers the entire area of the city, 13 councilors are elected and the remaining 22 councilors are elected in 6 constituencies of the city area. This means that each voter will receive two ballots.
The Central Election Commission of B&amp;H announced at nine o'clock a new cross-section of the election results in Mostar.
According to preliminary results, based on 98 polling stations processed (65.33 percent), HDZB&amp;H leads the City Constituency with 11,973 or 37.48 percent of votes, followed by the Coalition for Mostar 2020 with 9,421 votes or 29.49 percent.
In third place is the "Bh.blok", which consists of SDP and Naša stranka and has 3,629 votes, followed by the Croatian Republican Party with 2,474 votes or 7.74 percent.

The Coalition for Mostar 2020 leads the Constituency North with 3,053 votes.
In second place is "Bh.blok" with 722 votes, in third place "Stay here - Together for our Mostar", which consists of SNSD and SDS with 291 votes, fourth HDZ B&amp;H with 235 votes and in fifth place is the First Party with nine votes .

In the Old Town Constituency, the Coalition for Mostar 2020 is leading with 4,090 votes.
In second place is "Bh.blok" with 3,316 votes, in third place is the First Mostar Party with 744 votes, followed by the Platform for Progress with 318 votes, "Stay here - Together for our Mostar" with 131 votes and the First Party with 45 votes.

In the Southeast constituency, 13 polling stations or 92.86 percent were processed.
The Coalition for Mostar 2020 is in the lead with 2,959 votes or 72.31 percent. It is followed by the Platform for Progress with 510 votes or 12.46 percent, and the BH Blok with 437 votes or 10.68 percent.

In the Southwest constituency, 30 polling stations or 69.77 percent were processed.
HDZ B&amp;H is in the lead with 5,783 votes or 57.88 percent.
It is followed by the Croatian Republican Party with 1,835 votes or 18.37 percent, and the BH Blok with 1,022 votes or 10.23 percent.

In the North constituency, 13 polling stations or 81.25 percent were processed.
The Coalition for Mostar 2020 is in the lead with 3,053 votes or 70.84 percent. It is followed by BH Blok with 722 votes or 16.75 percent, and "Stay Here" with 291 votes or 6.75 percent.

In the constituency North, 24 polling stations were processed (77.42 percent)
HDZ B&amp;H is in the lead with 4,409 votes, in second place is the Croatian Republican Party with 1,465 votes, and in third place is BH Bloc with 884 votes.

Voter turnout at regular polling stations is 55 percent

A German court on Monday handed down a life sentence to a neo-Nazi behind a deadly attack last year that nearly became the country's worst anti-Semitic atrocity since World War II.
A bolted door at the synagogue in the eastern city of Halle with 52 worshippers inside marking Yom Kippur, the holiest day of the Jewish year, was the only thing that prevented the heavily armed attacker from carrying out a planned bloodbath.
After failing to storm the temple on October 9, 2019, Stephan Balliet, 28, shot dead a female passer-by and a man at a kebab shop.
-Without that famous reinforced door, he would have committed a massacre- presiding judge Ursula Mertens said as she read out the verdict.
Balliet, his head shaved and dressed in black, listened with a blank expression.
During his five-month trial, Balliet denied the Holocaust in open court -- a crime in Germany -- and expressed no remorse to those targeted, many of whom were co-plaintiffs in the case.
He was convicted of two counts of murder and multiple counts of attempted murder in a case that deeply rattled the country and fuelled fears about rising right-wing extremism and anti-Jewish violence, 75 years after the end of the Nazi era.

The head of Germany's Central Council of Jews, Josef Schuster, welcomed the sentence.
-This is an important day for Germany- he said in a statement. -The verdict makes clear that there will be no tolerance for homicidal hatred of Jews.-
A lawyer for nine of the co-plaintiffs, Mark Lupschitz, told AFP he was "relieved" by the verdict and called the proceedings both "stressful and empowering" for the intended victims.
A government spokesman, Ulrike Demmer, told reporters that the Halle attack "showed us how important it is to even more decisively continue the fight against anti-Semitism, xenophobia and hostility to democracy".
During the trial, Balliet insisted that "attacking the synagogue was not a mistake, they are my enemies".
Dressed in military garb, he filmed the attack and broadcast it on the internet, prefacing it with a manifesto espousing his misogynist, neo-fascist ideology.
The attack bore some of the hallmarks of two carried out and similarly live-streamed some months earlier in Christchurch, New Zealand by Brenton Tarrant, who killed 51 people. Balliet cited Tarrant as an inspiration.
Israel's ambassador to Germany, Jeremy Issacharoff, said the assault remained "a very, very alarming moment in German history".
-If that guy would have been able to get into a synagogue... it would have had a tremendous impact on German identity after the war and the fight against anti-Semitism- he told AFP in an interview.
Hatred of Jews is "a phenomenon that attacks the very democratic essence of Germany and I think that is the thing that is so important to protect", he said.
A few dozen demonstrators against right-wing extremism gathered outside the courthouse before the verdict was pronounced, unfurling a large black banner that read "We remember the victims of the attack of October 9, 2019".

Prosecutor Kai Lohse said during the trial that Balliet had acted on the basis of a "racist, xenophobic and anti-Semitic ideology" to carry out an attack against not only those he killed but "Jewish life in Germany as a whole".
Baillet "described the fatal shots fired at his two victims in Halle without emotion" and appeared disappointed that he had failed in his attempt to enter the synagogue, psychiatrist Norbert Leygraf said in an evaluation of the defendant.
He said Balliet suffered from symptoms of schizophrenia, paranoia and autism preventing him from having "empathy with others" while feeling "superior to others".
Crimes targeting Jews and their belief have risen steadily in Germany in recent years, with 2,032 offences recorded in 2019, up 13 percent on the previous year.
Meanwhile a string of far-right terrorist attacks have shocked Germany including the assassination of pro-refugee politician Walter Luebcke at his home in June 2019 and the murder in the western city of Hanau of nine people of migrant origin in February.

China on Monday said tweets by President Donald Trump suggesting Beijing was involved in a massive cyberattack on the US government were "a farce" concocted for political motives.
A large-scale hack of US government agencies including the Treasury was "under control" as of Saturday, according to the outgoing US President. 
But in a tweet thread he undercut his own administration's assessment that Russia was behind the cyberattack, instead saying China "may" also have been involved, without providing any evidence.
Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin stopped short of directly denying Beijing's involvement, but called US accusations of cyberattacks "not serious, and self-contradictory."
-The accusations made by the US against China have always been a farce, out of political motives- Wang told a press briefing.
-The US has politicised cybersecurity issues, continuously spread false information without conclusive evidence... in an attempt to destroy China's image and mislead the international community- he added.
In July, two Chinese nationals were indicted by the US for seeking to steal coronavirus vaccine research and hacking hundreds of companies -- prompting Beijing to accuse Washington of "slander".
Trump's tweets on Saturday contradicted comments just a day earlier from his Secretary of State Mike Pompeo about the source and the severity of the cyberattack, leaving administration spokespeople scrambling to reconcile the conflicting takes.
Pompeo earlier said the breach was "pretty clearly" Russia's work, adding there had been a significant effort to use third-party software to "essentially embed code inside of US government systems".
Cyber experts said the attack could have far-reaching impact and take months to unravel.
Several US officials had previously pointed the finger at Moscow, but none at Beijing.
Russia has denied involvement in the latest attack. 
Trump as president has frequently played down apparent threats from Russia -- including his refusal to recognise interference by Moscow in the 2016 election despite the findings of US intelligence agencies.

B&amp;H Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik has been admitted to the University Clinical Center of Republic of Srpska, Srpskainfo writes.

As a reminder, on Saturday, Dodik's office announced that he was in home isolation due to contact with a person who was positive for coronavirus.
It was then said that Dodik was tested for Covid 19, and the test result came negative.

Italy is to join other European countries in imposing a ban on passenger flights from Britain, the foreign minister said Sunday, as the British government warned that a new more infectious strain of the virus was "out of control".
-The United Kingdom has issued an alert concerning a new strain of Covid-19,- Luigi Di Maio wrote on his Facebook account. -As the government, our duty is to protect Italians and for this reason... we will sign, with the health minister, a decree suspending flights to and from Britain- he said, without specifying when the measure would come into effect. 
According to the Sky TG-24 news channel, boarding of flights from Rome's main Fiumicino airport had already been blocked.
In a health ministry statement issued on Sunday afternoon, Health Minister Roberto Speranza added that he had signed a decree "which blocks flights from Great Britain and prohibits entry into Italy of people who have stayed there during the last 14 days".
Anyone already in Italy who recently travelled from Britain must be tested for coronavirus, the statement added.
-The variant of Covid recently discovered in London is worrying and will have to be further investigated by our scientists. In the meantime, we choose the path of greatest caution- Speranza added.
