Acting on the order of the prosecutor from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested nine suspects in Bosanski Novi for crimes against humanity.

Persons under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H are suspected of having committed war crimes against Bosniak and Croat victims in the Bosanski Novi area in 1992 as members of the RS Army military police, related to the killings of several persons, illegal detention and crimes against hundreds of people.
After the criminal investigation, the suspects will be handed over to the acting prosecutor, who will interrogate them and then make a decision on further activities in the case, stated the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H.

Japanese and Russian foreign ministers discussed bilateral relations and regional issues during a telephone call on Thursday.

In his call with Zelensky, Michel reported on a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.
Michel said that establishing contact between parties with the participation of the EU could help alleviate the crisis, according to a statement by Ukraine.
He wrote on Twitter that he expressed the EU’s full support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty to Zelensky. "Europe’s security is only possible with a secure Ukraine," he added.
Several media outlets reported that the US administration officially warned its European allies that Russia may be planning another invasion of Ukraine.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov denied those allegations on Tuesday.

That is why these are business-legal relations between the owners and their company, ie mines and miners, to whom their employer has not paid and has not fulfilled the legal obligation to pay health and pension insurance since 2010.
So, Komšić's director Andelija is the one who persistently rejects the miners' proposals. The competent ministry and the FB&amp;H Government can only be mediators, as they have no prescriptive legal basis in determining the price of coal or the owners' obligations to the mines.
As for Komšić's proposal to remove the Prime minister, the competent minister and the director of the EP, it is completely clear that SBB absolutely supports such an idea.
After all, on June 1st, 2020, SBB, together with SDP, Naša stranka, PDA, A-SDA, NiP and Nezavisni blok, voted for the removal of Novalić's FB&amp;H Government, which has been in a technical mandate for three years. Let Mr. Komšić, who now remembered "Zaimović's Novalić," check how his esteemed deputies voted then. Let us remind him, however, that Komšić and his deputies did not raise their hands for the removal of the FB&amp;H Government.

Yesterday, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed an indictment against Selmo Cikotić (SDA), the Minister of Security of B&amp;H, for abusing his position and authority during his mandate as the Minister of Defense of B&amp;H.

Cikotić is charged with damaging the B&amp;H budget by about 9.7 million KM, as well as obtaining property benefits from others in the amount of several million.
The Accused is charged that in the period from 2009. to 2011., while performing the function of the Minister of Defense of B&amp;H, he abused the official position of the Minister of State by illegally favoring a buyer to the detriment of the ministry he managed when planning, exporting and selling surplus obsolete weapons, ammunition and military equipment.
- The indictment alleges that the accused completely illegally and without legal procedure, without informing his deputies, as well as the Presidency of B&amp;H, made changes to the contract, after which the company "Scout" d.o.o. Zagreb, instead of obsolete weapons and ammunition, which was intended for write-off and sale, in order to reduce storage and warehousing costs, amended the contract to export weapons and ammunition of higher quality and market demand, thus damaging the B&amp;H budget by about 9.7 million KM, as well as others, obtained material benefits in the amount of several millions - it is stated in the statement of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H.
The Accused is charged that, as an official in the executive bodies of B&amp;H, in the position of State Minister of Defense, by using his official position, he caused damage to the budget of B&amp;H and obtained a large amount of property gain for another, thus committing a prolonged criminal offense of abuse of office or powers under Article 220 of the Criminal Code of B&amp;H.
The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina will prove the guilt of the accused by questioning a large number of witnesses and expert witnesses and enclosing several hundred pieces of material evidence. The indictment was forwarded to the Court of B&amp;H for confirmation.

Founded in 1981, Boixos Nois was originally made up of radical left-leaning Barca fans but was soon colonized by skinheads. The group, which grew increasingly violent, had privileged positions in the Camp Nou stadium until it was banned in 2003.
Over the years, Boixos Nois members have clashed with rival groups, stabbing a 20-year-old Espanyol de Barcelona supporter to death in 1991, and stabbing a Paris Saint-Germain ultra (rabid fan) in 2014.
Recently, the group starred in a brutal 2020 confrontation with Valencia ultras, where objects like chairs and sticks were used as dozens of men beat each other on the streets.
But, according to police, their crimes go beyond football rivalries.
- Boixos Nois acted like an authentic criminal organization with discipline, a hierarchy, and an excessively violent character that was shown to other organizations that tried to move on their territory - said the police statement.
The group is accused of dealing drugs, both street drugs and illegally imported medication like steroids, and running a prostitution ring. One of the group’s leaders was also a member of the biker gang Hells Angels, according to police.
- The economic returns resulting from this illicit activity became the basis for financing their activities, which were mainly related to attending music and sporting events to disseminate hatred, hostility and violence towards vulnerable or rival groups - said the police.​​​​​​​

Germany’s center-left, liberal, and environmentalist parties have reached an agreement to form a three-way coalition government, local media reported on Wednesday.

The Greens gained five ministries, including the foreign ministry, a newly expanded economy and climate protection ministry, as well as the environment and family ministries.
The pro-business FDP will get the finance, justice, education, and transport ministries, according to the reports.
The deal is still subject to approval from the relevant party organs of the prospective coalition partners.
The SPD is scheduled to hold a special party congress on Dec. 4 to approve the coalition treaty, and the Free Democrats will hold their congress on Dec. 5.
Michael Kellner, the secretary-general of the Greens, told media that they will invite nearly 125,000 members of the party to vote on the coalition treaty online.

Sweden’s first female Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson resigned hours after taking office on Wednesday.

Social Democratic Party leader Andersson was elected Sweden's first female prime minister by receiving a vote of confidence in the parliament in the morning.
Later, the Green Party announced to withdraw from the coalition government after the budget presented by the opposition that includes the right-wing Sweden Democrats was passed by the parliament.
After her coalition partner quit the government, Andersson announced her resignation. Thus, her premiership lasted seven hours.
In a statement, Green Party Co-Chair Per Bolund said they do not want to run the country with the budget made by the right-wing parties, and thus they chose to withdraw from the coalition.

The European Commission on Thursday proposed new rules on political ads and transparency, demanding that tech companies reveal the sponsor and amount spent on campaigns, as well as online targeting criteria.

The measures are meant to boost the transparency of political ads in order to protect democracy and the privacy of EU citizens.
The proposed regulation would require clear labelling of political ads and showing who sponsored the campaign, how much they paid for it, and from which funds.
Online ads on Facebook and other platforms, including many funded by the Russian government, have drawn criticism for alleged stealth disinformation meant to stoke tensions and sway voters.
The commission draft would set rules for all types of political ads, but its main focus is on tech giants and social media campaigns since it would impose strict transparency conditions on targeted online campaigns.
The legislation would ban targeting and boosting techniques for political ads based on sensitive data such as ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion without the clear consent of the user.
It would also require targeted ads to feature the criteria upon which the audience was chosen and to tell which other groups were targeted.
“Elections must not be a competition of opaque and non-transparent methods. People must know why they are seeing an ad, who paid for it, how much, what micro-targeting criteria were used,” said Vera Jourova, EU commissioner for values and transparency.
If they fail to comply, the European Commission would be mandated to fine the tech companies and ad platforms involved.
The proposal has yet to be adopted by the European Parliament or the Council of the EU representing EU member states.

NATO and the EU consider Belarus’ approach toward migrants a hybrid attack meant to destabilize and undermine security in European countries through non-military means.

Since August, the European Union countries bordering Belarus -- Lithuania, Latvia and Poland -- have reported a dramatically growing number of irregular crossings.
More than 8,000 people have tried to enter the bloc via the Belarus-EU border in 2021, up sharply from just 150 last year.
According to the EU, Belarus reaches out to potential travelers through seemingly official channels, including diplomatic missions and travel agencies, and invites them to Belarus by offering them visas. They are then allegedly guided to the EU border.

High Representative Christian Schmidt visited Washington DC on 22-23 November 2021 to discuss current political developments and the overall status of peace implementation in Bosnia and Herzegovina with United States officials.

During his meetings with high-ranking State Department and National Security Council officials, including National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, State Department Counselor Derek Chollet, and State Department Under Secretary Victoria Nuland, the High Representative outlined the challenges stemming from the current blockade of political and institutional processes at the state level, as well as from irresponsible adventurist initiatives coming from the Republic of Srpska leadership.

High Representative Schmidt visits United States

The trial of Fadil Novalić and others, accused of buying 100 Chinese ventilators at a price of 10.5 million KM, continued today with the testimony of three employees of the Federal Civil Protection Administration (FCPA).
The first to testify was Harisa Pepeljak, senior clerk for office operations in the General and Legal Affairs Sector of FCPA. She specifically worked on the protocol and confirmed that on April 3rd, 2020, the proposal for the purchase of 100 ventilators was recorded, as well as the contract with Fikret Hodžić's "Silver Raspberry", which states the type of ventilators HC-VE003.

Answering the questions of the state prosecutor Mirza Hukeljić, she said that the contract was accompanied by a specification for the mentioned type of ventilators. The contract for the purchase of the second type of ventilators ACM812A is not recorded nor does it have acceptance stamps.
Also, according to her, the notification about the delay of the ventilators sent by Fikret Hodžić was recorded on April 22, 2020, in which the ACM812A ventilators were listed, and also the same notification with the same text arrived, recorded on April 28, 2020, and read on ventilators type HC-VE003.
It is interesting that these notices also state the sentence that the ventilators arrived at Sarajevo Airport on April 25, 2020.
Witness Pepeljak confirmed that she and her colleague entered in the record book only those offers on the procurement of medical devices and equipment that will be worked on and procured.

The second witness was Meliha Glavinić, FCPA economic technician. She said that on April 3, 2020, Sanita Alagić made an offer to purchase 100 ventilators and gave instructions on how to make the payment. The payment was made on the basis of a procurement offer, and not on the basis of a pro forma invoice, and this was done due to the outbreak of the pandemic. The offer was based on the HC-VE033 ventilators type.
Witness Glavinić said that Alagić came after 10, 15 days and took the complete case, which was never returned.
Fahrudin Solak said that it was not clear to him why this witness was telling lies, because when Alagić made the offer, the witness was not present and that she entered in the book of incoming invoices only what her colleague Nermina Fejzić told her to enter.
Selma Hadžić, technical secretary in the office of FCPA director Fahrudin Solak, also testified. She confirmed that all the offers that arrived in the emails were printed and submitted to the director.
She said she did not read the contents of those offers.
The trial is due to continue on December 1, 2021.
