The mosque was supposed to be opened in March 2020 on the date of the Mirage, but we had to suspend the works due to the pandemic that captured the entire world- Erdogan said.He expressed satisfaction that he had the opportunity to open this mosque today because mosques are symbols of the unity of Muslims.
Raisu-l-ulama Husein effendi Kavazović said that he was opening a restored mosque today with his brothers and friends, president Erdogan and the B&amp;H Presidency member Šefik Džaferović.
-It is a part of our architecture and a symbol of Sarajevo. I thank the people of Turkey for rebuilding the mosques that were destroyed during the war in B&amp;H. They are part of our common past and future. We want to build a prosperous B&amp;H with our neighbors and members of other faiths. We will not be shaken by the ugly words of the people we hear today because every hatred brings the most damage to the hater himself- concluded Kavazović.

Five people have died in explosions at an arms depot in southern Kazakhstan, authorities in the Central Asian country said Friday. 

The blasts began Thursday at a defence ministry ammunitions depot in the southern region of Jambyl, leaving scores injured and nearby villages evacuated by authorities.
-Unfortunately, four military servicemen died- said defence minister Nurlan Ermekbayev, noting that attempts to contact several other serviceman after the blasts at the facility had failed.
A separate defence ministry statement said that a fifth person had been killed.
The Jambyl regional government said that of more than 80 who received treatment for injuries, 28 remained in hospital with six in serious condition.
On Thursday, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had said on Twitter that the injured were soldiers and emergency services workers.
And local authorities said that they were evacuating people from the villages closest to the site of the accident. 
On Friday, the defence ministry said that a fire broke out at an ammunitions depot in Jambyl and "quickly spread to storage facilities where engineering ammunition is stored."
Several explosions followed, the defence ministry said.
-The explosions stopped over time, but the fire continues- the statement added. 
A video shared on the Telegram messaging app Thursday showed a column of smoke billowing from a fire before a powerful explosion sent flames shooting out. 
The defence ministry noted that some of the munitions stored at the Soviet-era depot had been transferred from another depot in the adjacent Turkestan region, where three lethal explosions took place in the last decade.&nbsp;

Targeting a hugely popular stable of social media tools, a court in Moscow on Thursday fined Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp a total of almost half a million dollars for violating the law on data localization.

The court ruled that social media giants Twitter and Facebook have to pay 17 million rubles ($227,882) and 15 million rubles ($201,072) respectively for repeated violation of the law, which requires that data on Russian users be stored in Russia.
It also for the first time penalized messaging app WhatsApp – owned by Facebook – for 4 million rubles ($53,619) for the same offense.
Under the 2015 law, all foreign companies must keep data on their Russian users on computer servers within the country.
Business social network platform LinkedIn in 2016 and the Telegram messenger app in 2018 were blocked in Russia for the same reasons, with Telegram freed from restrictions in 2020 after meeting the legal requirements.
In July 2020, Turkey passed a law with similar requirements on local users' data, also mandating that social media firms with high internet traffic must appoint a local representative in Turkey.

The trial of Bakir's FB&amp;H Prime Minister Fadil Novalić and others in the "Ventilators" affair continued today in the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In addition to Novalić, the accused are also the suspended director of the Federal Civil Protection Administration, Fahrudin Solak, and Fikret Hodžić, owner of the company "Srebrena malina" and FB&amp;H Minister of Finance Jelka Milićević.

- I know him as a client. I met him in 2018 when he applied for a loan. Last year, on April 6th, he invited me to a meeting because he needed bank guarantees because he got a job concerning the import of medical equipment. He said the money was already in his account. He asked the bank to issue a guarantee for deferred payment until the goods are delivered. Those were actually three guarantees. The first was in favor of the Montenegrin company BTL at 4.1m euros, with a deadline of April 15th. I know that the guarantee was issued and it was never activated - stated Kreštalica.
The prosecutor asked Kreštalica if he knew exactly what equipment Hodžić intended to procure.
- He said they were Chinese ventilators. I asked him if he was registered as an authorized importer of medical equipment and he said that the Prime Minister of FB&amp;H would make sure that he received an import permit. I received that answer by e-mail - Kreštalica replied.
The witness said that in this case it was a matter of ensuring that the ordered goods would be delivered.
Hodžić's lawyer Mirna Avdibegović asked the witness if he knew who from the bank gave the contract to the media because there is an obligation to keep client data private.
- During the telephone conversation, Hodžić told me that only someone from the bank could give the media a contract. I didn't know anything about that, so I told him to officially contact the bank - Kreštalica answered.
The employee of Privredna banka Sarajevo, Lejla Kustura, also testified, saying that 10.5 million KM had been deposited in the account of "Srebrena malina" and that it was immediately registered in the system, and she informed the Department for the Prevention of Money Laundering.
Namik Hadžić, secretary of the FB&amp;H Red Cross, who is also a member of the Federal Civil Protection Staff, also testified in court. He described how decisions on the procurement of medical equipment were made at the sessions.
The trial is due to continue tomorrow.

At the time of his arrest, the consultant had just received 27,800 kronor ($3,355) for passing information to Moscow, prosecutor Mats Ljungqvist said in February.
The information regarded "manufacturing, such as source codes and construction of products in the automotive sector".
According to the indictment, the man illegally transferred material from his work computer to his private computer and thereafter to USB memory sticks.
In order to hide his activities from being logged by the IT system, he also photographed material from the screen of his work computer.

At yesterday's hearing, the director of the Federal Directorate of Commodity Reserves and a member of the FB&amp;H Civil Protection Staff, Tončo Bavrka, testified, who changed his statement during the hearing in relation to an earlier statement to the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H.

I expect that the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H will issue an order in the next period to conduct an investigation into the murder case itself. I don’t think the results of the investigation will come quickly, because I don’t believe in quick investigations. A quality investigation takes time regardless of the fact that we lost five years and six months - Feraget explains.
He stated that only now it is necessary to do what had to be done on February 8th, 2016, when Dženan Memić was inflicted with injuries that turned out to be fatal.
- We're going back to the beginning. It will be a signal to both the HJPC, the UDT and the Cantonal and Federal Prosecutor's Offices that they need to do something about the prosecutors who worked on the case and missed the target. And, they didn’t miss the target because they were shooting badly, but they didn’t want to shoot at the right target. They turned to the other side and fired at another target. This will be the last investigation in this case, the third will not be. So now we are focusing on the act of murder itself and that investigation will cover all those directly involved, but also the rest, court experts, police officers and prosecutors who have obviously abused their official position, each in their own way. When we get to the direct executor, we will have a motive, and when we get to the motive, we have solved the case - Feraget specified.

He explained that as far as the involvement of prosecutors and experts is concerned, there is more than enough evidence to open an investigation against them.
- It is quite certain that several witnesses said a lot of useful information about the direct perpetrator of the murder and the motive.

If he was defending himself from an attacker, then that attacker could not have inflicted a fatal injury on him at the very beginning, but at the end. It is obvious that it was a fight, as Dalida Burzić said. She said there was an escalating conflict and stated "they didn't want to kill him". According to Dženan's injuries, some of which are defensive, it can be concluded that there were more attackers. In addition, Alisa Ramić - Mutap has a minor bodily injury to the head and her statement on the basis of which it can be concluded that it is a larger number of people - said Feraget.

- I understood the words, but I did not and will never understand the incrimination.
State Prosecutor Dubravko Čampara did not read the indictment. The hearing lasted just over ten minutes.

Director of the NUB B&amp;H, Ismet Ovčina, said that on this day 29 years ago, on the night of August 25-26, 1992, the City Hall building was shelled from the hills around Sarajevo and caused the fire which engulfed and swallowed almost the entire interior with about 90 percent of the library fund and historical documents. 
-The intention was obvious, and that is to destroy the cultural heritage of a state, people and citizens who live in it- he pointed out.
Ovčina reminded that about two million library items, books, magazines and manuscripts of inestimable value, which testify to the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, were destroyed. At that time, he added, the NUB B&amp;H was one of the most recognizable institutions of its kind in the former Yugoslavia.
-Citizens and employees tried to save the books. One part has been preserved and we are especially proud of that, and the Commission for National Monuments of B&amp;H declared that material a national monument last year. Those special collections speak of state-legal continuity, cultural identity, development and dignity- Ovčina pointed out.

The witness also said that he was not aware that the „Srebrena malina“ was procuring ventzilators, but that he knew that according to the law, the one who procures the goods was also obliged to provide storage.
Prosecutor Hukeljić had to show the statement whoch the witness gave during the investigation on several occasions because he answered certain questions differently.
- I didn't even think I would be a witness, I don't think there was a need for that. I asked if we could use these ventilators in hospital treatment or just in the Emergency Room. Russia's central regions on Wednesday battled "extreme" wildfires fuelled by an unusual heatwave that comes after forest fires linked to climate change ravaged Siberia for most of the summer. 

Authorities were fighting 15 wildfires in the Urals region of Sverdlovsk, the emergencies ministry said. 
The region -- which lies on the border of Europe and Asia -- faced "extreme fire hazard" due to a heatwave, it added. 
Images on social media Tuesday showed flames on either side of a federal highway between regional capital Yekaterinburg and the Urals city of Perm, forcing the road shut for most of the day, according to reports.
Fires had meanwhile grown so intense in Mordovia, a region southeast of Moscow, that firefighters were forced to escape from a "ring of fire", the ministry said Wednesday. 
And in the Nizhny Novgorod region east of Moscow, nine planes provided by the emergencies ministry, the defence ministry and the Russian National Guard had dropped 129 tonnes of water onto a large wildfire spreading to neighbouring Mordovia. 
Authorities had deployed 1,200 firefighters to put out the blaze, the emergencies ministry said. 
President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday pledged hundreds of millions of dollars to protect the country's forests, saying the nation must learn from the "unprecedented" wildfires that engulfed swathes of Siberia.
In the country's largest and coldest region of Yakutia, fires have burned through an area larger than Portugal.
The emergencies ministry said Wednesday that there were 50 forest fires now buring in the region. 
Officials in hard-hit regions have called for resources and economic support from Moscow to deal with the damage.
Experts blame the huge fires that have ripped across Russia's vast territory in recent years on climate change, negligence and underfunded forestry management services.
Russia's forestry agency says fires this year have torn through more than 173,000 square kilometres (67,000 square miles), making it the second-worst season since the turn of the century.
A former sceptic of man-made climate change, Putin has called on authorities to do everything possible to help Russians affected by the gigantic fires.&nbsp;

A hearing in the case of Dženan Memić was held at the Court of B&amp;H this morning. The indictment includes Zijad Mutap, Alisa Mutap-Ramić, Hasan Dupovac, Josip Barić and Muamer Ožegović. All the accused pleaded not guilty to all counts of the indictment.
The accused are charged with organized crime and preventing the discovery and proving the cause of the death of young man Dženan Memić. As expected, everyone pleaded not guilty.
After the hearing, the father of the murdered Dženan, Muriz Memić, addressed the public.
- As we expected, criminals will always say they are not guilty. This is an organized criminal group that is ready to commit a crime, to hide it. We managed to get to court, the trial is going on. There is a huge number of witnesses, I am glad that I will be the first witness to testify - said Memić.
He points out that the investigation in this case continues.
- This investigation goes further. There are many more perpetrators. A murder investigation will also be opened and that is a big step forward. The proceedings before the Supreme Court were pending. The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina will handle the case. The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office cannot because Sabina Sarajlija accepted to deny the crimes. I have positive information for that. The state prosecutor's office has shown that they want to work - said Dženan's father Muriz.

He also commented on the announced protest.
- This is a protest for many unsolved murders. I call on the entire public in B&amp;H to join us, this is not just my struggle. I think I did a lot. All citizens should be the part of this. We have proved that the prosecutors, court experts, doctors are corrupted. If I need to name someone, I am appointing Delida Burzić, who told me that my son was killed, and later denied it, as proved by the Supreme Court. It was a Supreme Court decision. Dženan was killed, I think they have proved enough how much they are ready to cover up the murder - Memić pointed out.
