Acting on the order and supervision of the Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, SIPA police officers, with the support of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior, the RS Ministry of Interior, Foreigners Affairs Service and ISA B&amp;H, carried out an operation codenamed "Fast" and deprived of liberty five suspects, and conducted searches of facilities at several locations.

The activities were realized in cooperation with USKOK and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia, and are aimed at detecting and prosecuting the organizers of illegal smuggling of dozens of migrants from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Croatia and other EU countries.
The suspected organizers are citizens of Afghanistan, and the investigation established that, acting as an organized group with other suspects, in order to gain illicit property, they organized, coordinated and smuggled dozens of illegal migrants, mostly citizens of Afghanistan, who came to B&amp;H from Serbia, and were smuggled across the river and land border from B&amp;H to the Republic of Croatia.
As part of this operation, a coordinated investigation by the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia lasted for several months, in order to identify and process the perpetrators.
The suspects deprived of their liberty are charged with criminal offenses - organizing a group or association for smuggling migrants in connection with human trafficking, stated the B&amp;H Prosecutor's Office.&nbsp;

An unidentified attacker shot dead a man and badly injured a woman outside a Paris hospital on Monday before fleeing the scene on a motorbike, police said.

The attacker fired several shots at the Henry Dunant private geriatric hospital run by the Red Cross in the upmarket 16th district, sources close to the investigation said.
-One person died and one is seriously injured- a fire service source said.
The two victims were taken into the hospital for treatment after the shooting.
The man died from his wounds.
The injured woman works as a security guard at the hospital, which runs a Covid-19 vaccination centre.
There was no immediate indication as to the attacker's motive.
Police cordoned off the area around the hospital, AFP journalists said.
A fire engine and several police vans lined the street outside the facility.
The hospital is situated close to the river Seine about four kilometres (2.5 miles) south of the Eiffel Tower and near the Parc des Princes football stadium.

It is useless that both Janša and Pahor expressly denied the nebulae from the paraintelligence kitchen. Pahor reiterated that he has always been against the division of B&amp;H and the redrawing of borders in the Balkans, and he especially emphasized his long-standing commitment to the countries of the Western Balkans to be part of the European Union family as soon as possible.
Janša even specified that he had not seen the President of the European Council, to whom he allegedly handed over a non-paper on the goals of the Slovenian EU presidency from July 1st this year (which allegedly talks about the division of B&amp;H and the end of the breakup of the former Yugoslavia) he has not seen since the end of last year, so he was not able to hand him something in March this year, as some portals in B&amp;H claim.
Basically, we spent another morning reading about the grim scenarios that Europe and perhaps the United States allegedly intended for B&amp;H, all with the simple goal of forgetting Komšić's non-paper that really exists and that appalled diplomats in Brussels and at UN headquarters.
In fact, the story of Janša and Pahor should have served as a logical continuation of Komšić's premonitions, troubles and accusations against Brussels and (twisted) Washington, and their hidden intentions towards B&amp;H.

<h2>Quinte's sharp response to Komšić's non-paper</h2>

Perhaps this media-political spin would have lasted more than a few hours if Komšić had not received a fierce response from the Quinta countries last week and a warning to turn to reforms and economic development in B&amp;H, instead of using the rhetoric of conflict and unnecessary political tensions. 
In the end, however, he tried and fired a blank again. Cynics would say that if he had spoken so many times (and not once) about the "Respirators" affair or the situation at KCUS, that anyone had seen his personal effort to get life-saving vaccines against coronavirus, maybe today someone would believe in his political mirage that the state of B&amp;H, that he and his partners from the SDA repeat every now and then, is endangered even before the disintegration.
Thus, Komšić's melodramatic political plays every day look more and more like a tragicomic monodrama in which the main character is less and less reminiscent of the righteous Robin Hood who fights against the hated enemies Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović, and more and more of the lying Bakir's Pinocchio, who tests Bosniaks by spreading fear, where is the border after which they will also say - the Muslim country of Bosnia is also good for us, smaller than the state of B&amp;H, but it is only ours.

By order of the Municipal Court and the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, members of the State Investigation and Protection Agency SIPA seized documentation on respirators that Fadil Novalić (SDA) procured through Fikret Hodžić's company "Srebrena malina" from three institutions.
Those institutions are Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), headed by Sebija Izetbegović, the wife of Bakir Izetbegović, the president of the SDA, the "Verlab" laboratory and the Federal Civil Protection Administration (FCPA).

SIPA stayed in these three institutions for more than eight hours.
These activities were initiated after a letter from doctors that appeared in public, which spoke about the catastrophic situation at KCUS and stated that "Srebrena malina" respirators could not be used to treat COVID patients.
A few days ago, state and cantonal prosecutors were at KCUS, as well as inspectors from the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and inspectors from the Federal Inspectorate.
According to the information that "Avaz" has, SIPA took out three registers from "Verlab", in which all work orders, measurement reports, the contract between FCPA and "Verlab", as well as certificates for all respirators verified so far.
It’s the same with FCPA. Contracts with "Verlab" were revoked, as well as the original documentation related to the distribution, installation and verification processes of the ACM812A respirators.

As far as KCUS is concerned, SIPA, on the order of the prosecutor, seized documents on respirators that were put into operation in COVID wards, according to whose instructions, how many are in order now and which of them are not working.
These are 30 respirators, which were obtained and requested by this medical institution.
By the way, at the hearing on April 16th, the trial of Fadil Novalić and others, accused of criminal procurement of 100 respirators, for which 10.5 million KM were violated, continues at the Court of B&amp;H in the "Respirators" case.

No entity has a future outside B&amp;H - they are categorical.

What we are witnessing these days confirms that we are all trapped together by Al Capone's gang and their state. The trial in the "Respirators" affair and the fact that B&amp;H is at the very top of the world in terms of the number of deaths from coronavirus, the already appalling state of affairs, are leading to hot spot. And it is becoming more and more obvious that because of those who, due to greed and the assumption of their own comrades in the lives of the world's poor, are responsible for that themselves, more than it could have been imagined.

How it will all end, I don’t know. But as far as the rule of law and its institutions are concerned, I am not optimistic. On the contrary, it could be like all the years so far - a storm in a teacup. Because the state that has loaded itself on our backs is not in a service of its citizens, but an instrument of Al Capone's "fighters" for the national cause.
Which is whythe state itself, together with the Al Capone's gang who clung onto its "breast", does everything to maintain the social status quo - and the principle of "dogs barking, and caravans at the same pace are still pushing the same story." In addition, more recent Sarajevo experiences testify to this - in connection with the elimination of Ivana Marić, in relation to Bogić Bogičević as a candidate for mayor of the capital, and in what is happening in relation to respirators, the trial and revelation of everything in the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo - not to mention this at all.
What are our chances of getting rid of such an environment of a collective camp? As far as the state and the institutions of the system are concerned, to be honest, everything is getting slimmer. Because it is worth repeating, neither the state nor its institutions are in the service of their citizens, but the defensive walls of those who, using phrases to protect the national interests, destroy what little off it is left, but also the will of the bravest to grow old in the land of their ancestors.
Admittedly, the chances are slimmer that the engine of change could be civic, political philosophies that act in the name of the elementary right to life - regardless of the ideological positions from which they emerge. Because their real power is nowhere near what could be considered the initial trigger for any serious social change.
Is it known, then, that these political philosophies often themselves accept the position of the logistics of the combat echelons of the defense of the social status quo, while the hope for their possibilities is further eroded.
So what's left? Is there any hope at all that change can happen in this country? Is a civilizational reset possible that would restore BiH to the splendor it has not lacked throughout history? Or is the definitive burning of illusion the only thing left for us to do? I never accepted defeatism or giving up.
But I believe less and less that change is possible through the institutions of the system. Elections, as internet bots and raiders of nationalist oligarchy tell us these days. Because it will rob them as they have been robbing them for a quarter of a century. And they will block any changes that prevent theft.

Then where is the solution? As for me, only in the civil riot, which removed many more powerful people from the thrones, and without which, for example, Nicolae and Elena, the Ceaușescu couple, would never "fly away" to the dustbin of history.
Are the people, both Bosnian and Herzegovinian, ready for a civil uprising? What is happening in Banja Luka these days is promising. Events in Sarajevo, unfortunately, no. Because only a few hundred people join the opposition to the regime on the streets of the capital - less, it seems, than in front of the Banski dvor of the owners of cafes and fitness centers.
Add to that the fact that the situation in the "the capital town" is almost regular, and the story of the civil uprising as an all-Bosnian response to "state-building" criminal gangs is not very encouraging. But you never know. Maybe it happens after all. In, say, the near future. Maybe.

A veteran Greek crime journalist was shot dead outside his home in Athens on Friday, a police source said, in a rare crime targeting a member of the media.

Some journalists request police protection after receiving threats but according to reports, Karaivaz was unguarded.
The shooting occurred at a time when Greek authorities had received criticism for allocating too many police guards to a controversial TV presenter.
Hours before Karaivaz' murder, Citizen's Protection Minister Michalis Chrysohoidis had suggested in parliament that state protection was being exploited by "rats of the public sphere" who did not deserve it.
-For the last 20 years, every (police) minister has tried to take back (officers) from 'VIP duty' and put them back on the front line- the minister said.
In July, tabloid newspaper owner Stefanos Chios survived after being shot in the neck and chest by a hooded man outside his home.
The case is still under investigation.
In 2010, radio manager, blogger and investigative journalist Socratis Giolias was also gunned down outside his home. 
At the time, state TV NET said he had been working on a story about corruption.
A shadowy far-left group claimed responsibility for the crime but the case was never solved.

Queen Elizabeth II's husband Prince Philip, who recently spent more than a month in hospital and underwent a heart procedure, died on Friday, Buckingham Palace announced. He was 99.

-It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh- it said in a statement.
-His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.-The palace added that further announcements would be made "in due course".
Fears over the health of the Duke of Edinburgh, as he was formally known, had been heightened after he recently spent a month in hospital for treatment.
He left hospital on March 16 following what was described as a successful procedure for a pre-existing condition and treatment for an unspecified infection.
He was first admitted on February 16 on the advice of his doctor after he complained of feeling unwell. 
Philip had returned to Windsor Castle, west of London, where he had been isolating with the queen -- Britain's longest-serving monarch -- since the start of the coronavirus pandemic last year.
He was due to turn 100 in June.
The news of his death saw television channels interrupt regular programmes and start special coverage marking his life.
The BBC announced his death and played the national anthem, "God Save the Queen".
Philip had increasingly struggled with his health in recent years, and had retired from public life.
In the run-up to Christmas 2011, Philip was taken to hospital by helicopter after suffering chest pains. 
The Greek-born former naval officer was then treated for a blocked coronary artery and had a stent fitted.

As the trial in the corruption affair worth 10.5 million marks for the procurement of 100 respirators from China, in which the first accused Prime Minister of the Federation of B&amp;H Bakir's Fadil Novalić (SDA) is taking place, is slowly unraveling the tangle of obvious crime, in which there was precise agreement that the company "Srebrena malina" owned by the accused Fikret Hodžić will get this job.
As a reminder, this is a company that processes raspberries and at that time did not even have a license to import medical equipment, issued by the B&amp;H Medicines Agency.

<h2>All questioned witnesses confirmed this</h2>

So far, all questioned witnesses of the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H, as well as the Viber correspondence between the accused and witnesses, have confirmed that this is a deliberate procurement. The only one who didn't remember anything, even though offers arrived at her desk, was Sebija Izetbegović, director of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS), Bakir's wife.
A new detail, which was missed by many in the courtroom of the Court of B&amp;H the day before yesterday, is an official note from the State Investigation and Protection Agency SIPA, which ended during the opening of the investigation against the Prime Minister, on his mobile phone. More precisely, it is an official note on financial transactions, which was sent to him by someone from this police agency, in order to get acquainted with it.
During the testimony of Novalić's secretary Bahra Džaka, the prosecutors asked the witness about this document in the courtroom, but the Court of B&amp;H did not allow the note to be read, stating to the prosecutor that this document should have been attached when the prohibitive measures were requested.
This note reveals much and is attached to the lawyers with the indictment as Exhibit no. 11, after the expertise of Novalić's mobile phone and the analysis sent by SIPA to the Prosecutor's Office of B&amp;H.
It is interesting that "someone from SIPA" sent this note, signed by Damir Vranešić, head of the financial intelligence department, to Prime Minister Novalić's mobile phone, but he later got rid of his mobile device, explaining that he always changes cell phones, which he admitted on record.
But, it is interesting that he replaced his mobile phone in Austria, in the midst of a pandemic, when it was almost impossible to travel.
It was this note, which was a secret document and from which it is clear that the Prime Minister received secret information from SIPA, that Novalić's secretary Bahra Džaka later printed it, following the instructions of the Prime Minister.
Džaka, to whom the correspondence in the Court was attached, could not remember this document, but she revealed one incredible piece of information, "that she also changed her mobile phone after the opening of the investigation".

When the prosecutor Mirza Hukeljić asked witness Džaka, by what name she memorized the telephone number of Prime Minister Novalić in her mobile phone and through how many telephone numbers she communicated with him, she first answered "that she thinks the Prime Minister was saved in her phone as Prime Minister Fadil Novalić ".
However, after prosecutor Hukeljić showed the Viber correspondence, it turned out that Džaka communicated with Prime Minister Novalić on June 26th last year, whose number was then stored in her phone under the name "Sana N."
Džaka admitted "that she took some initials of family members" and memorized the prime minister's number under that name.
It was in that correspondence the official note of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) from May 29th last year was, which is proof of the leak of classified information from SIPA.

On June 26th last year, witness Džaka communicated with Prime Minister Novalić, whose number she then memorized in the phone under the name "Sana N"

Britain said it is willing to offer shelter to Myanmar's ambassador to London after he was ousted from his embassy by pro-junta diplomats.

Kyaw Zwar Minn met on Thursday with Nigel Adams, Britain's Foreign Office minister for Asia, after his hosts said they could no longer recognise him as ambassador in line with the junta's decision to terminate his posting.
-I pay tribute to his courage and patriotism. We will support him to ensure his safety and security in the United Kingdom- Adams said in a tweet above a picture of the two men looking somber at their meeting.
Britain said it condemned the envoy's barring from the embassy on Tuesday, after which he was forced to sleep in his car overnight as anti-junta protesters gathered outside, watched by London police. 
-Given the bullying behaviour towards Mr Minn, we are seeking to ensure he can live safely in the United Kingdom, while he decides his long-term future- a Foreign Office spokesperson said.
-We continue to call for an end to the coup in Myanmar and a swift restoration of democracy.-Kyaw Zwar Minn had appealed for UK help, and raised the prospect he could die if he is returned to Myanmar. 
Asked if thought he would be killed if he accedes to the military leadership's demands that he returns, he said: "Who knows?"
Daily protests demanding a return of democracy following the February military coup have rocked Myanmar and brought a brutal response from the armed forces, with at least 614 civilians killed according to a local monitoring group.

Jovan Divjak, retired general of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ARB&amp;H) and executive director of the Association "Education Builds B&amp;H", died in Sarajevo at the age of 84. 

He was born on March 11, 1937 in Belgrade. He graduated from the Military Academy in Belgrade, the course for battalion commander, Command and Staff Academy and the War School, and he performed the duties of an officer in the headquarters of the Territorial Defense of B&amp;H. During the war, he served as Brigadier General of the Army of RB&amp;H and Assistant Chief of Staff of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Jovan was one of the founders and initiator of the idea of creating today's Association, in which he incorporated his life's work and himself. The philanthropic idea is the leader of this Association, headed by Jovan Divjak for 27 years.
He is the holder of a large number of awards for socially useful and humanitarian work such as April 6 Award of the City of Sarajevo, the Order of the Legion of Honor of the French Republic, Order of Lafayette.
He has contributed to numerous international conferences and seminars, advocated for the respect of children's and human rights as well as for quality and complete education. French and Italian publishers printed his book "Sarajevo, My Love", which talks about his life and war events in B&amp;H, and he is the author of the book "Expecting Truth and Justice".
