The adjustment of the official hryvnia exchange rate will have only a limited impact on the acceleration of price growth, the central bank asserted, adding that "instead, fixing the official rate at a new, more stable level will allow the NBU to keep price developments in Ukraine under control."

Boat accidents are common in rural Pakistan, mainly because of loose safety standards and overloading, where people usually use river routes for daily commute.
Expressing his grief over "the loss of precious lives", Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered an inquiry into the incident.

The UN Security Council voted unanimously Wednesday to extend the international community's special political mission in Yemen.
