The SBB presidency held a session in Sarajevo today and adopted several measures and conclusions on the reorganization of the party after the end of the 2020 local elections.
The Presidency unanimously passed the Decision on the expulsion of Azem Cviko, a councilor in the Municipal Council of Novi Grad Sarajevo, from the membership of SBB. Mr. Cviko's decision to support the SDA-led majority is so much heavier due to the fact that his vote was decisive for the SDA to retain a majority in the Municipal Council. 
The leadership of the Alliance for a Better Future of B&amp;H, even during the resignation of Fahrudin Radončić to the position of the Minister of Security of B&amp;H, made a decision to end the coalition with the SDA at all levels. The only exception is the FB&amp;H Government in the technical mandate, where it is not possible to withdraw the SBB ministers, because that would mean that the FB&amp;H Government can practically be taken over by the HDZ B&amp;H.
The SBB presidency once again calls on the SDA and HDZ B&amp;H to form a new FB&amp;H government as soon as possible, in which there will be no SBB ministers.

Members of the Security Committee of the Parliament of the Federation of B&amp;H are discussing the current security situation caused by the migrant crisis, concretely in the Una-Sana Canton, at an emergency session taking place in Bihać today.
The meeting is attended by relevant officials from all levels of government in B&amp;H.
Representatives of the BiH Ministry of Security, the Service for Foreigners Affairs, the FB&amp;H Police Administration, as well as the Government of the USC and the City of Bihać, responded to the invitation of members of the FB&amp;H Parliament to attend the meeting.

The German company TVC has decided to invest in the area of Goražde, where it plans to produce medical beds and functional furniture. For a start, it has already employed 15 workers, and by expanding production and building its own factory on the site of the industrial zone in Vitkovići, it plans to employ about 150 workers by the end of the year.

B&amp;H Presidency member Željko Komšić said there had been no official reaction from the Montenegrin government after it was revealed that the country's Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić had congratulated January 9th as RS Day to the President of Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović, which the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina declared unconstitutional.
Although he believes that Krivokapić's move is the result of political inexperience, Komšić estimates for Montenegrin TV that this will leave a trace of suspicion and doubt in the good intentions of the new Montenegrin leadership in the majority of public in Bosnia and Herzegovina. B&amp;H Presidency member Željko Komšić says that he has not yet received an official response from the Montenegrin government.
“There were no official reactions from Podgorica, the only contact I had, indirectly, though, was through our ambassador here in Podgorica, when I asked our ambassador to convey a message to Mr. Abazović that he is communicating with a fake profile,” Komšić pointed out.
For Komšić, the explanation from the Montenegrin Prime Minister's office that there were no official congratulations and that it was a private conversation with the President of the Republika Srpska, Željka Cvijanović, is unacceptable.
“Krivokapić is new and inexperienced in that position, but maybe it will be a lesson he will understand when you are in such positions, and something can be officially different from a private one. He spoke as the Prime Minister, it is official, and he addressed one of the officials of the B&amp;H entities, and in that communication it is always official,” said Komšić.
Komšić believes that Prime Minister Krivokapić's move will leave a mark on the relations between the two countries, which, as he reminds, have been traditionally good so far and without open issues.
Because, as he points out, January 9th in the collective consciousness of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina symbolizes the beginning of the Greater Serbia aggression against that state.
That is why, he says, he is worried about returning to the past through the revival of some ideas, such as the project of Greater Serbia, but also the strengthening of the right wing on the European continent.
That is why Komšić has high expectations from the new administration in Washington, led by President Joseph Biden, who, he believes, will do everything to make this part of the Balkans a safer and more stable place to live, reports the RTCG portal.

B&amp;H Presidency Chairman Milorad Dodik told Srna today that Republic of Srpska will continue to mark January 9th as RS Day.
- On the occasion of the celebration of January 9th, we hear long-known attitudes by which individuals are trying to challenge this date. That date is something that stays forever and lasts, as Republic of Srpska will last. The other two members of the Presidency believe that they have the right to do so, although that is not a matter for the Presidency of B&amp;H - Dodik emphasized.
He pointed out that the inquisitors of the international community in the Constitutional Court of B&amp;H are "traditionally directed against Serbs".

- The significance of January 9th - Republic Day will remain strongly imprinted in our people. This was expressed this year as well, when many of our citizens hoisted flags on their apartments, houses, balconies and cars, the holiday was celebrated with the family and there is no possibility that this fact will be changed - said Dodik.
He pointed out that the complaints regarding January 9th, which come from Sarajevo, have a "pathological political character".
- Everyone knows that the Constitutional Court of B&amp;H is working against Serbs and the Republic of Srpska, which is confirmed by the decisions it made, and one of them is on January 9th. Such a Constitutional Court will break up B&amp;H with its unconstitutional and criminal decisions directed against the Serb people and the Republic of Srpska. This court does not defend B&amp;H, but destroys it because it does not respect the Constitution of B&amp;H. A synonym for the Constitutional Court of B&amp;H is political violence - said Dodik.

Leading human rights organizations, Amnesty International, Jesuit Refugee Service Europe, Médecins du Monde Belgique and Refugee Rights Europe have called for immediate humanitarian support to address the current emergency as well as durable institutional solutions to meet the needs of people transiting through Bosnia and Herzegovina. 
Approximately 2,500 people, including 900 residents of temporary camp Lipa, remain without basic shelter in perilously cold conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina as authorities fail to provide adequate accommodation to migrants and asylum-seekers, and EU agencies continue to support short-term solutions, announced Amnesty International today.
Director of Amnesty International’s European Institutions Office Eve Geddie said that the accommodation is available to house most of the people currently sleeping rough in bitterly cold temperatures in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The EU has provided over €88 million in assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina to strengthen its migration management capacity over the past three years. Despite this, the country has failed to identify suitable facilities for the accommodation of migrants and asylum-seekers, assume full responsibility for the management of existing facilities or to provide minimal guaranteed support to those stranded in the country.
-The EU now has to work with the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina on finding systemic, long term solutions to meet the needs of people on its territory and ensure that this situation does not reoccur yet again next winter- said Eve Geddie.
These organizations also consider that the EU’s responsibility is clear – the current humanitarian crisis is also a consequence of EU’s policy of fortifying its borders that has left thousands of people stranded on its periphery or in the neighbouring countries.
Many of those at risk were housed in a temporary makeshift camp in Lipa, northwest Bosnia, which was shut down on 23 December. A fire broke out during closure, converting the area into an uninhabitable wasteland. Over the weekend, the authorities installed dozens of heated tents on the ground, but close to 400 people remain in makeshift shelters despite heavy snow and the temperatures that are forecasted to plummet in the coming days. 
-Without access to running water, adequate sanitation or heating, and significant risks to people's health and safety, Lipa remains unsuitable as a permanent accommodation site- stated human rights organizations. 
Outside of Lipa, many people, including families with children, continue to seek refuge in parks, abandoned houses, defunct factories, and forests close to the border with Croatia. They are in desperate need of shelter and humanitarian assistance as they face dire winter conditions. 
Director of Amnesty International’s European Institutions Office Eve Geddie concluded that the EU’s support for humanitarian crises will ring hollow unless it changes the policies that cause them.
